350,000+ Downloads of CUBRID Open Source DBMS

CUBRID announced that the number of downloads of its open source DBMS (database management system) CUBRID has exceeded 350,000.

 

Since 2008 November, CUBRID has become an open source DBMS and has sustainably expanded its user base, achieving more than 240,000 downloads in South Korea and more than 110,000 downloads worldwide. Since the revitalization of the open source community site www.cubrid.org in April 2020, users from more than 120 countries around the world have accessed the open source community site. In particular, South Korea has the highest page view rate of 29.3%, followed by the United States, China, India, Germany, and Russia.

In addition to expanding its own open source community, CUBRID supports the expansion of the worldwide open source community. CUBRID has persistently cooperated with developers' communities via sponsorship of events such as the Open Software Developer Contest, Korea Community Day(KCD), and OpenInfra Community Day.  

 

CUBRID encourages open source project participation through the recent developer guide publishment and forum. More than 3,500 Q&A sections have been accumulated on the CUBRID forum for user issue support.

 

CUBRID believed that the key factor of the success of open source system software is the steady expansion of their ecosystem. CUBRID will continue to improve their products through continuous feedback and user base expansion.

  2. CUBRID open-source DBMS registered on AWS Marketplace

    March 6, 2023 CUBRID announced today that its open-source DBMS 'CUBRID' has been registered on Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace.
