CUBRID Manager Migration


■ Import Wizard

It supports to import schemas, data files into the database server. The schema only supports SQL file, data is supported SQL, CSV, XLS, TXT files.

For you want to import with schema and data files, you can see as the follow dialog if you can click the right button on a database node of the left navigation tree and use | Import | menu on the context menu.

The import wizard is consists of three step as the follow.

  • Choose importing type
  • Choose data sources and options to import
  • Confirm importing options


Import types are as follows.

  • Import from SQL files

It supports to import with schema and exported sql data file by adding their files. SQL files can be imported with schema and data once, but it should be imported schema first, then you can import data files into your database. Otherwise, it maybe failed importing data files.

  • Import from CSV, XLS files

It can be supported to import data by adding exported CSV, SQL files. If you add files, it will compare file names and table names, then it also will be mapped both. Though added files are not exists on the database, it can be taken to create a schema automatically if you had use | Create table according to the source file | checkbox option.

  • Import from TXT files

It can be supported to import data by splitted with row/column separators. If you add files, it will be mapped table names with same as their file name. Though added files are not exists on the database, it can be taken to create a schema automatically if you had use | Create table according to the source file | checkbox option.

  • Import from a history

After finished importing task, you can save import settings by using save and close button, and you can import easily with same import condition. However, you should pay attention to use it's name because it can not save a database information.


Common options on the import wizard

  • Thread Count : If you have a lot of tables to import, you use more than 1 on the thread count, then it can be faster than using single thread. It is suitable 1 ~ 3 thread(s) on commonly PC environment.
  • Commit Lines Once : If you want to import a huge data, it should be adjusted because of preventing slow import with updated database log. Usally, it is suitable 1000 for this option. It depend on your environment and you can use over 1,000.


■ Export Wizard

It supports to export schemas, data files from the database server. The schema only supports SQL file, data is supported SQL, CSV, XLS, TXT files.

For you want to export schema and data files, you can see as the follow dialog if you can click the right button on a database node of the left navigation tree and use | Export | menu on the context menu.

The export wizard is consists of three step as the follow.

  • Choose exporting type
  • Choose data sources and options to export
  • Confirm exporting options

Import types are as follows.

  • Export to SQL, CSV, XLS, TXT files

It supports to export several types as SQL, CSV, XLS, XLSX, TXT, OBS. If you use Schema option to export, it will be exported on ddl folder with including schemas, indexes, serials, views to export. Also, you can use a WHERE condition for each table and you can choose a table you want.

  • Export to CUBRID LoadDB files

You can use CUBRID LoadDB files to export. It is different with CUBRID Manager that it can be supported WHERE condition statement for each table.

  • Export with a history

After finished exporting task, you can save export settings by using save and close button, and you can export easily with same export condition. However, you should pay attention to use it's name because it can not save a database information.
