BIT(BIT_Varying) Result is different in JDBC, CCI, and CSQL

I am developing CCI based application and my test includes using BIT type.

I inserted B'110' into a column however the result in CCI, JDBC shows X'60' and CSQL does X'6'.

I think CSQL only shows a correct value, however both CUBRID Manager and my CCI Application return a different value with X'60'. Please let me know which is right one.

Sorry for making you confused. Different results come from a spec in cubrid drivers.

CUBRID Drivers such as JDBC, CCI transfer and analyze data by Byte(8bits) however CSQL (DB admin utility) works by BIT(1bit). It causes different result as you saw.

Since it is a spec, please use your BIT type length as 8 * n bits. Then you will see the right value thru your application and CUBRID Manager too.
