Failed to select 50MB CLOB data in CUBRID Manager, but suceeded to select 25MB data

Hello, the table contains CLOB type column, and I inserted 51MB text.

1) Problem:

I could select 25MB text by CLOB_TO_CHAR in CUBRID Manager, I failed to select 50MB or bigger text.

When I didn' tuse CLOB_TO_CHAR function and run SELECT, it works to read column's data (file path) however when using ClOB_TO_CHAR to read its content, it failed.

In addition, when I insert 80MB text content into the column, it works in few seconds. However for 100MB text content, it failed to insert although it took more than 10 minutes.

2) Create Table DDL for your convenience:

CREATE TABLE tbl_Content

(

aaa CHARACTER VARYING(100)NOT NULL,

contenttype INTEGER,

content CLOB,

);

3) Query for your conveinece:

SELECT CLOB_TO_CHAR(content) FROM tbl_agent_filecontent

WHERE aaa = 'conditions'

As you may know, CUBRID Manager, Query Browser, Migration Tool is Java Application running in your local system, and your local system resource limits/affects Tool's performance.

The problem you encountered is due to "Out of Java Heap Memory" which default value is set with 512 MB (-Xmx512m ) in cubridmanager.ini file. Please open cubridmanager.ini file and change its maximum value to 1024 MB (-Xmx1024m) as follows:

-startup

plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.1.0.v20100507.jar

--launcher.library
