<p class="inline"><b>CUBRID WebQuery</b> is an open source, lightweight and intuitive web-based database management tool originated from the well known <a href="http://www.sqlbuddy.com" target="_blank">SQL Buddy</a>. It was later updated, customized and enriched with new features compatible with CUBRID.</p>

<p>CUBRID WebQuery is famous for its high performance. It features a modern user interface design and provides optimized browsing experience due to the usage of AJAX technology. Users do not have to wait for the whole page to be reloaded when trying to simply add a new record into a table. The application will fetch just the content that has changed. It is lightweight, easy to install, easy to learn and use. If you wish to administer your CUBRID database from a web browser, CUBRID WebQuery is a must tool for you.</p>

<h2 id="downloads">Downloads</h2>

<p>The latest version of CUBRID WebQuery has been released on August 10, 2011. Users with older versions are recommended to download the following latest version and upgrade their WebQuery.</p>

<h2 id="instructions">Instructions</h2>
<h3>Software Requirements</h3>
<p>Before installing, please make sure that you have already installed and configured the following applications. For installation instructions of each software refer to the <a href="#tutorials" target="_self">tutorials</a> below.</p>
<ul>
<li>CUBRID 3.0 or later.</li>
<li>A Web Server: we recommend Apache Web Server.</li>
<li>PHP 5.3.x or 5.2.x. Remember to install CUBRID PHP Extension.</li>
<li>IE7+, Chrome, Safari, Opera, or Firefox Web browsers with JavaScript enabled.</li>

<h3>Installation</h3>
<p>Installing <b>CUBRID WebQuery</b> is very easy. Since it is a PHP based Web application all you need to do is to upload it to your server and you are ready to go. Then open in your web browser the address corresponding to the location were the application was installed/unpacked (for example, <a href="http://localhost/webquery/index.php" target="_blank">http://localhost/webquery/index.php</a>). <h3>Connecting to a Database</h3>
<p>In order to connect to a database:</p>
<ul>
<li><a href="/manual/840/en/Checking%20Service%20Status" target="_blank">Make sure</a>&nbsp;the CUBRID Service has been started. If not started, start the CUBRID Service <a href="/manual/840/en/Starting%20and%20Stopping%20Services" target="_blank">manually</a> or <a href="/manual/840/en/Managing%20Service" target="_blank">via the CUBRID Manager</a>.</li>
<li><a href="/manual/840/en/Checking%20Database%20Server%20Status" target="_blank">Make sure</a> the required database is also started. If not started, start the database <a href="/manual/840/en/Starting%20and%20Stopping%20Database%20Server" target="_blank">manually</a> or <a href="/manual/840/en/Starting%20Database" target="_blank">via the CUBRID Manager</a>.</li>
